I didn’t watch “It Takes A Man and A Woman” on its opening day, yet surprisingly, the screenings were still packed days after the opening. I can therefore be forgiven if I had high expectations for this movie.
It Takes a Man and a Woman is the third and final installment in the A Very Special Love series of films. The movie follows the life of Miggy (John Lloyd Cruz) and Laida (Sarah Geronimo) after their break-up which occurs after the events of the second film. Miggy is now in a relationship with Belle (Isabelle Daza) while Laida is now a more mature woman after living in the United States. They work in the same company, and there is a bit of tension because Laida finds herself opposing many of Miggy’s business decisions.
