Team MJ was at the Manila International Book Fair last Sunday and caught quite a few authors who were there to meet their fans and sign copies of their books. It was a great end to an exciting five-day book fair, where readers and book enthusiasts from all over the Metro gathered to check out new titles and seek out old favorites, enjoying great discounts from book retailers and publishers.

Inspirational author and entrepreneur Bo Sanchez was there to sign books and meet his fans, who ranged from young kids to adults.

One of the country’s best-loved cartoonist Pol Medina, Jr. was incredibly friendly to his adoring fans as he chatted with them and signed their copies of his books.

The Filipino-Canadian author of the thrillers Freak and Creep Jennifer Hillier and Alex Gilvarry, author of the satirical novel From the Memoirs of a Non-Enemy Combatant, talked about their books, their Filipino roots, and how much they’ve enjoyed visiting the country.
