Do you love John Lloyd Cruz? You’re in for a treat this week!

John Lloyd is one of those leading men that girls can’t seem to stop screaming for. He’s a natural charmer.

Surely, one can’t get enough of a guy who says, “mahal kita. . .kahit ang sakit sakit na” and “she had me at my worst; you had me at my best, at binalewala mo lang ang lahat ng ‘yun. And you chose to break my heart”.

That was the famous line from his movie in 2007 One More Chance where he played Popoy, shown on national TV more times than we can count, and still a must-see for fans. He was paired with his long time on-screen partner Bea Alonzo there, who played Basha.

But John Lloyd’s memorable roles didn’t end with Popoy. The following year, he was Miggy Montenegro in A Very Special Love, the youngest son of a prominent and wealthy family in the business world. And simple girl Laida Magtalas (Sarah Geronimo), changed the game for Miggy and the rest of us.

They had good chemistry and that brought about a sequel. The movie You Changed My Life hit the box office and was ranked then as the highest grossing Filipino film of all time. Macoy (Rayver Cruz) entered the scene and made love life more complicated for Miggy and Laida. Who wouldn’t be charmed by John lloyd when he said this lines, “I don’t get jealous! I can’t be jealous! I’ve never been jealous! Ngayon lang!”

On September 12, new movie with Bea Alonzo The Mistress is opening in theaters.  Will we be watching? Of course!
