Glee is Back! A spoiler recap

Gleeks get ready, because Glee is back! Season 4 premieres Thursday, September 13 on Fox with a match airing episode on September 14 on ETC Philippines.

This Glee won’t exactly be the same show we’ve been following. For one, we’d be expecting to see a new Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) with a different kind of confidence and maturity. Helping to bring Rachel out of her shell will be her determined new love interest Brody (Dean Geyer).

Watch out for their duets. Glee creator Ryan Murphy tweeted that they will be singing Demi Lovato’s “Give Your Hear A Break” and “Oops! . . . I Did It Again,” as Glee pays tribute to Britney Spears (again) in Episode 2.

But what happens to Finn? Watch out for that, according to Lea Michele. When Finn finally returns, fans will be in for a pleasant surprise.

Behind-the-scenes insights have been shared lately by Ryan, who revealed that he’d love to do a Moulin Rouge tribute episode, but that it’s not in the works yet.

Recently, Ryan took a moment to open up about the future of Brittana (Brittany and Santana’s pairing). When a fan asked him about the future of Brittana, Ryan’s response was Taylor Swift’s song, “Mine.” Not sure if this means Brittany and Santana will be singing the song, or if it’s just meant to describe their relationship. But either way, “Mine” is definitely not a break-up song.

If you’re eager for Klaine (Kurt and Blaine) moments when Glee returns, Darren Criss is not one who disappoints. He is pushing for Blaine to visit Kurt in New York City.

For those hoping for Matt Bomer in Season 4, unfortunately, he’s not scheduled to appear on the show just yet. But it’s okay because you can still watch him in White Collar.

On the other hand, Chord Overstreet hinted that Sam might still be romancing Mercedes (Amber Riley), or that he might try to rekindle things with Quinn (Dianna Agron), instead. But Ryan confirms on Twitter that Sam will be getting a new girlfriend. Definitely a must-watch.

Ryan also revealed that seemingly-ousted Glee Project winner Damian McGinty (Rory) would be back for the Thanksgiving episode. He couldn’t say the same about Grant Gustin (Sebastian) though.
