The latest episode of Curiosity Got the Chef is part two of the trip to Baguio. This time, Chef Sharwin leaves the kitchen to venture out for some outdoor fun. While he didn’t go hunting or gather ingredients in the wild, he did find uses for some popular Baguio products.

With Dry Aged Steak with Orange Sagada Dressing, we get a dish with meat specially prepared to make it more tender and flavourful. It’s served with a vegetable salad with a vinaigrette made from Sagada Oranges.

The next recipe is Camper’s Stew — sautéed salted pork in tomato sauce with potatoes and fresh young corn. Liver spread is used to thicken the sauce, and two eggs for toppings.

For dessert, there’s the Strawberry Smore Cobbler. Strawberries are first pan-fried in butter then white marshmallows are tightly packed over the strawberries before being toasted. More pan-fried strawberries, a Graham cracker crumble, and chocolate flakes finish the recipe.
