So last Friday, my friend Marge, who runs a beauty blog and video podcast, brought me along to The Face Shop‘s Club 20 launch party for bloggers, at their Trinoma branch. Club 20 was a global campaign to offer The Face Shop’s most popular products at marked-down prices, and the event was well-attended by some of Metro Manila’s most popular beauty bloggers.

Guests were treated to free nail art, hair styling and make-up, expertly given by the shop’s in-house stylists.

I wasn’t really planning to, but I ended up getting my make-up done. I wish I had gotten my nails and hair done, too, but I got too caught up mingling with the guests and getting better acquainted with TFS’s brand manager Candy, and training manager Marge Apacible.
Snacks were served by TGI Friday’s. Blue iced-tea came in fun tumblers which we got to take home.

Personally, I can’t wait to try the Lovely Me:Ex Eyeshadow in OR206. Never used orange-themed make-up, as I usually go for pinks and neutrals, and maybe some dark green for evenings. Looking forward to trying it out!

Introduced at the launch party was Monalyn Luna, the winner of the recently-concluded The Face Shop Top Girl Philippines contest, who will be going on a media tour in South Korea this year, along with the Face Shop Top Girls from different countries in Asia. Have fun, Monalyn!
