One thing I personally don’t like about summer is the amount of sweat that seeps out of me every day because of the heat! But summer also means getting to try new things, including desserts that’ll keep me cool!

From my sweet tooth to yours, here are some mouth-watering refreshments to enjoy more of this summer.

Sebastian’s Chilly Burger

With such a peculiar name, “Chilly Burger”, you’ll instantly think it’s a frosty meat burger (which is weird) but it’s actually an ice cream cookie sandwich. The photo above is called “Snack Attack Burger” which definitely lives up to its name because of its delicious ingredients. It has butter cashew nuts, vanilla ice cream, chocolate covered potato chips, peanut butter-coated pretzels, honey roasted peanuts and a salted caramel center!

Soya Bar’s Tahoccino

This is bringing Filipino traditional sweet cuisine into a whole new level. Tahoccino is a warm dessert that contains a shot of espresso, a layer of silky taho topped with textured soy milk and dusted off with hints of cinnamon. Take it in the early morning, when the heat hasn’t gotten so bad yet.

Bonchon Chicken’s Ko-Yo, Banoffee Pie and Blueberry Torte

With this kind of heat every day, we often yearn for something to cool us down so I personally recommend everyone to try these scrumptious desserts from Bon Chon. Ko-Yo (Korean Yogurt) comes in two flavors: Banoffee Pie and Blueberry Torte.

Bubba Gump’s Alabama Mud Pie

If you’re a lover of cakes and ice cream, then you won’t have to choose. Bubba Gump’s Alabama Mud Pie is a cool layer of chocolate and vanilla ice cream, with chunks of Snickers candy, topped with caramel, chocolate syrup, and peanuts. Doesn’t reading that made you want to eat it right now? It’s definitely one of the best desserts I’ve tasted ever.
