What: Ballet Philippines’ Pusong Wagas

Where: Cultural Center of the Philippines, Pasay City

Tired of crowded movie houses during the season of love? Why not try watching a romantic contemporary ballet performance and fall in love all over again? Ballet Philippines’ Pusong Wagas is set in Manila’s pre-colonial era and highlights the love story of a gifted carpenter and a tribal princess as they face foreign invaders.

The PIJAZZ fest is actually a month-long celebration full of activities like live performances, workshops, and book launches. But in the spirit of the season of love, they will be having a special Valentine’s Day live performance with Brazilian jazz vocalist Kevyn Lettau, Noelle Cassandra, and Verve on stage.
